Clamp Organization

Clamps in the wood shop are essential for a successful project. There are many types of clamps for a variety of needs. Below are a few of the clamps I have in my shop.

You Can Never Have Too Many Clamps...

Hand Screw Wood Clamp

Handiest clamp in woodshop.The secret is their square sided jaws. Lay the clamp o n its side and anything you clamp between the jaws will be vertical to the surface the clamp is resting on.

Pipe Clamp

Pipe clamps are available in many lengths. You basically purchase the clamp system and install it on any length of pipe. These are great for large glue ups.

Bar Clamp

These clamps are very strong and come in a variety of sizes.

Racheting Bar Clamp/Spreader

Great clamp. Many sizes and styles.

Locking C-Clamp

Very useful in the shop. Quick adjustable C-Clamp.

C-Clamp

Very stong clamp. I have many sizes in my shop.

Spring Clamp

Spring clamps come in many sizes. I typically keep about 100 of these 3" clamps in my shop.

Wooden Cam Clamp

Bar style clamp that puts small amount of pressure by adjusting the cam lever.

Heavy Duty Pressure Pad Clamp

With the sliding bar design, you can use this clamp for a quick and strong situation.

Deep Throat Reach C-Clamp

I use this clamp to glue the bridge on the acoustic guitars. It is the perfect size to reach the bridge through the sound hole.

90 Degree Right Angle Clamp

Single swing jaw allow two different size of rods or blocks to be joined at the angle of 90 degree. Fix you work pieces precisely.

Corner Clamp

Used to glue mitered corners, etc.

Cloths Pin

Yes this is a clamp that I use in the shop. Great when you are gluing kerfing on the inside of your guitar.

Bench Clamp / Vise

Every work bench should have a vise. Many styles available.

Bence Dog Clamp

These clamps are used in holes on your work bench. They will hold down your material hard and fast. If you don't have these in your shop, you should look into it.
